    Love their draft, except ...

I wonder if they hurt themselves by dropping to far in the first round. No Blackmon, no Floyd, no Claiborne, instead they end up with Michael Brockers. Not bad, but not the impact player they could have hoped for.

The rest of the draft was great though. Quick was not my favorite to go when he did, but not a bad pick. Jenkins was easily my top rated CB and would have gone top 5-10 if it weren't for the off-field troubles. And Pead and Johnson were certainly among my favorites to go where they went.

Overall, a great draft, and of course, my picks to play with from the Redskins in the coming years, but I really felt the last move down to 14 really cost them a difference making player.

Yes, and no. Brockers isn't as much of a wow pick as Claiborne would have been, but the need at DT was there. You say they lost a difference making player, but they still got Jenkins in the 2nd. I was shocked to see them take two CBs with off field baggage, but the talent is there. If Jenkins can stay out of trouble, no one will blame them for passing on Claiborne. I loved the pick of Pead though. He will be a good change of pace back who has receiving skills.

Just like the Browns they are really stupid for passing on a big time play maker at WR. Bradford needs some real ****ing weapons to work with at some point, or they might as well just draft a new QB soon, because he hasn't had a good chance at being successful there since he's been there.

They definitely took the high risk high reward route. Quick and Jenkins could very well outplay their draft status

They feel they have one in Quick. Might not be the big name like some of the other guys, but a lot of that is the product of the program he came from. He's certainly got the measurables.

You guys seem pretty critical of their draft. To me this is a typical Jeff Fisher draft. I'm sure after looking down their roster Fisher was considerably more interested in adding solid starter quality players in bulk than he was concerned with adding impact play makers. I'm not sure that I don't agree with him as the cupboard for the Rams is very bare.

As much as I hate the idea of not getting franchise changing talent when you have the oppurtunity, what good does a big name star (not QB) do for you if the rest of the team is still so lacking? I hated how far they dropped and that they didn't get a game changer, at first, the more I think if it though maybe the draft they had can help some of the top ten talent guys they already have. Quick and Pead can help both Bradford and Jackson. Brockers maybe able to help Long be more effective. The Corners may help pass rush as well. I don't think it will be over night but I think it's a step in the righ direction, IF like in all drafts the players selected get to work and help the team.
