Wasico 'Skins clean house at QB

Of course, the Griffin selection was set in stone ever since the trade.

But then the Redskins take Kirk Cousins, to me the 4th best QB behind Luck, Griffin and Lohse (yes, not Tannehill).

    Surprising?

Beck has already been given his walking papers, and if the rookies develop quickly enough, I'm sure Rex will join him in the unemployment line this summer. If Cousins is a little raw to be counted on as the backup then Grossman will likely be kept on for another season.

I like adding the guard in between the QB picks, but I'm surprised the Skins didn't give Griffin another toy in the receiving department to play with. Luck gets 2 tight ends added, Griffin gets a late round RB.

Can't forget the TY Hilton pick up as well for the Colts, he's gonna be a good one if you ask me. I like the Skins O-line picks, and I think Cousins will make a pretty good backup. The running back pick was a real head scratchier for me, I also question why not try and pick up a weapon in the forth instead of drafting Cousins? I would assume they'd want a veteran like Grossman to be 2nd string for RG3's rookie season.

    Because RGII already has:

    Roy Helu
    Evan Royster

    Santana Moss
    Pierre Garcon
    Josh Morgan
    Leonard Hankerson
    Anthony Armstrong

    Fred Davis
    Chris Cooley

    Pretty potent group of pass-catchers.

I love the combo of Helu/Royster for the Skins going into this year. I didn't see much of Royster's pass catching ability, but Helu has it for sure. Santana Moss is only getting older, but could still be a solid veteran presence for the young QB. I like the move to add Pierre Garcon, I just wish that he were more consistent as a receiver. I've seen him make incredible catches and take over games, then other times he'll drop several easy ones in a row, becoming a non factor.
