I view Tannehill similarly to Kaepernick last year, a bit of a project with a potentially huge upside. Only, I liked Kaepernick more than Tannehill. To me, he's a late first rounder at best, and personally I wouldn't slot him in until the middle of Round 2. The fact that there's talk of him going #4 to Cleveland and at worst #8 to Miami screams of the panic that some of these teams have trying to find a QB. Could he one day play like a deserving #4 overall pick? Sure. I'm sure the majority of teams would have taken Drew Brees first overall instead of Vick had they known then what we know now. But the talk of this guy as a top five pick smells of desperation.

I like the comparison to Kaepernick, though I view Tannehill as a better prospect and a bit more polished. Every season there's teams desperate at the quarterback position that reach, and I agree that Tannehill will be drafted far higher than his talent deserves.

I'll agree that Tannehill may be more polished, but I think Kaepernick has a bigger upside. I saw Freeman a lot the same way as these two, and he's already proven to be a good QB.
