There's a difference between playing to inflict as much pain as possible and playing to injure someone. I think the Saints tended to the former rather than the latter.

You have a bounty system where players were rewarded for injuring people and now there's recordings of Williams talking about trying to injure ACL's, ankles, hit people in the head and give them concussions.

After hearing those tapes, I doubt Greg Williams will ever coach in the NFL again. He may not be alone, but that was ugly to listen to.

What's worse to hear is all of the players in disbelief that this is wrong and everyone does it... I'm sure other teams are guilty, but I doubt every team does what Williams does... Saints players themselves are creating a bad image by continuing to deny anything wrong was going on...
