    Wow, this is tough.

I'm going with Peyton, Brady, Fitz, Polamalu and (soon to be) Suh.

Good call on Revis, Hawk. He should be in my five as well.

Top 5 FOOTBALL PLAYERS, meaning I don't have to pay any attention to their importance to their team right? We're talking about straight up ballers here who are great at what they do right?

Before I make this list lemme first define to you guys exactly what the term "best football player" means to me. It means a guy who may not necessarily be the best at his position but a player who the collective sum of his contributions on the field likely total more than anybody elses. He's also a guy who on any given play in a myriad of different ways has the ability to single handedly snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. A player who absolutely, positively HAS TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR at all times regardless of the situation or circumstance. To be the best football player you have to be an absolute game changer.

With that in mind my list goes.......

    1. Troy Polamalu
    2. Michael Vick
    3. Clay Matthews
    4. Chris Johnson
    5. Darrelle Revis

My 5 honorable mentions to round out my top 10 would include....
    1. Tom Brady
    2. Peyton Manning
    3. Patrick Willis
    4. Desean Jackson
    5. Larry Fitzgerald

You might as well had put the homer pic by this list.

Vick is on this list after one season over Brady and Manning? Lol!

And Desean Jackson is on here over Andre Johnson and Roddy White? I figured you'd be more objective than that.
