NICK FAIRLEY!!!
Ndamukong and Fairley.
And I think Christian Ponder just messed himself a little.

I think Christian Ponder just demanded a trade out of that division.

Nice!
Seriously, Vanden Bosch will never see another double as long as he plays.

I gave this pick a B+, I know a lot of lions fans that disagree with me (saying that it's higher), but here's my reasoning...
This is a potential pick, and I'm a little weary of potential picks for the Lions. As long as Fairly isn't a bust, this will be a B+ pick...they could have gone OLB or CB (Prince and Smith were there)...But I totally agree with the upside of the pick. This guy will force a lot of attention, but wait you have to give the DROY attention too...and VandenBosch is no slouch either.
I think Aaron Rodgers gave himself a concussion when he heard of this pick by the Lions

Well, every draft pick is really a potential pick. One thing this does, is make them no longer dependant on Corey Williams and his false starts. In fact, I think he'll get moved.
But one thing still holds true. A great D-line and pass-rush immediately improves a secondary, and this should provide a fantastic pass-rush, even if it's up the middle.

Thing is, the secondary isn't **** poor, it's in need of a #1. Houston is a good #2, and the rest of the guys out there can fill out a roster ok, too.
What the Lions need more than anything now (yes, more than even o-line and cb) are linebackers. I would love to see the next five rounds land them at least three.
