What players do you think will fall in the draft after workouts for the NFL Draft?

Thanks to Wolverine for the sig and avatar.

Bowers strikes me as the obvious one IMO. I think when teams start comparing him to Quinn, Watt, Kerrigan, and Smith he will loose some of that hype he has right now. I will also go with Adrian Clayborn as well. I keep seeing him listed as a top ten guy and I just do not get it. I just don't see him being a big name in the NFL. Maybe an OK starter but that is not a high end pick.

Where the hell did you see Clayborn listed as a top ten guy recently?

I don't think poor workouts hurt prospects that much, although the fact that Clayborn probably will not light up the combine is another reason to question his decision not to participate in the Senior Bowl where he was most likely going to shine, unless he was unable due to injury.

Honestly, I think the biggest thing that hurts prospects in terms of this stuff is when they find out the school has overblown their height, weight, and speed that when everyone finds out they fall short. For example, Leonard Hankerson came in over an inch shorter than he was listed and he was a guy who was touted as a guy with some size at the wide receiver position. He does have long arms, but that is still disappointing. This is one of those things I have never understood about college football. If a school wants to do something, go overly conservative, so when the guy comes in taller, it comes as a pleasant surprise. It does happen, but it is rare, although as people have said that Mallett's height could be looked as a negative, suddenly he was listed an inch shorter than he was last year.

Maybe it is just me, but I think the combine and workouts like that are less of a situation that results in disappointments, but rather provides a platform for people to really shine.
