PSH announcements Must Read for New Members: Frequently Asked Questions

    FAQ

For all you n00bs out there, here's some answers to some commonly asked questions we've gotten from new posters. If you've got questions about any of these things, or about things we haven't added to this post, please feel free to ask.

Why are some of the members color coded and what does that mean?

-Dark Red means that the member is an administrator, which are basically the people who run the site, they are the head honchos. Green means that the member is a Super Moderator which gives them more responsibility over a moderator and they are 2nd in charge. Red is for moderators, they help maintain the forums and keep the forums active.

    Why aren't my posts counting?

Posts are only counted in the football areas of the site (the team forums, as well as the general football forums such as General NFL, NFL Draft, etc.). Other forums do not count towards your post total.

    What are MVP's and vCash?

MVP's are a sort of site currency that you can use to purchase items from the MVP Points Store like custom usertitles or a new username. You can also use them to bet in vBookie events in the game threads and Betting Parlor
    forum.

How can I get an avatar or signature?

-Under The Off Topic category (accessible after you have accumulated 50 football posts), there's a forum called the Design Studio that will allow you to request a signature or avatar from any one of our numerous great designers. Please read the rules for requesting before you make a request though.

How do I post a news article?

You have to post the link to any article. If you are commenting on a sentence or two of the article it may be quoted. Everything else must be paraphrased.

What do you use when posting new threads?

We have 2 different options when creating new threads to generalize what your topic may be. First are the tags. It will be the very first option listed as "Prefix". Each divisional forum has a prefix for all teams in the division. Add the proper prefix to what your thread is about. The other option is the posting icon. We have one for all 32 NFL teams, the college conferences plus others. You can/should also use that.

What are the rankings under your name and when do you move up?

    Undrafted FA-0
    Practice squad-50
    Rookie-125
    2nd string-300
    Starter-500
    Veteran-800
    Playmaker-1200
    1 Time All-Pro 1700
    Annual All-Pro 2500
    MVP-3500
    Hall of Famer-5000
    Living Legend-7000

What is the color scheme for members?
    Dark red-Administrators
    Green-Super Moderators
    Orange-Moderators

More to be added as need.
