Well I think we cover that spread, USC has not been good at covering spreads this year.

I think we perform well in this game, I don't know if we win. The biggest key will be protecting Canfield. USC liks to sack and we've struggled with before our last two games.

I expect the Rodgers bros. to do their thing but we need more and thats where the protection comes in.

Having a bye and being between the ND and UO games is a big bonus for us but USC's rebuilt defense will give us a different problem to last year's defense.

Should be a great game, I hope you all watch

I'll take OSU and the 20 points for this one. I wonder of USC might be caught a bit flat for this game coming off the win over ND and with another big game after this one with Oregon.

    ^not at home they won't.

The SC offense looks like it's beginning to find some life. The defense will be strong as always. I expect a good game either way

Tate forcier also looked like a heisman winner vs that same notre dame defense.

I think definitly there is potential that that was the breakout game for USC's offense, but its still not been proven to not be a fluke output

At this point USC has an average offense and good defense. Thats gotten them by but they better be ready for the next few weeks

Playing at the coliseum is bad but lets not make it out to be death valley. Oregon State did play well there last time and other teams have made close games and of course stanford did pull it off. Bottomline is no one in the country can expect to beat USC...at home or on the road. But USC, even at their best is still beatable and I don't think the 2009 trojans are the trojans at their best.

Oregon State will need a lot of breaks (like the turnovers they got in 2006 and 2008) to win but I don't think it will take too much for them to make it a decent game.

well we just didn't get enough breaks. Too many missed oppourtunties, but I do feel like we outplayed USC but the thing is, you can't make mistakes like the JR fumble and punt return or settle for field goals

Mays is a dirty scumbag, I hope he is a major bust in the NFL because he is a douche. I'll leave it at that because anyone who watched the game knows what I'm talking about

Quizz got hurt in the 1st half which coinicided with our offensive slump but he did do pretty well despite the Trojans' attempts at "revenge". 113 yards with a 5.7 average

Bradford is the real deal. I thought he looked excellent vs. ND. Joe Mcknight is average, sorry but this is coming from an opponent - I was begging them to put mcknight in because we stood a damn good chance at stopping him

Last thing: good god could the announcers love barkely anymore? Sorry he was bad tonight and every other play it "wow I can't believe that execution". MEanwhile not one word on Canfield...lets look at the numbers:

15/25 for 202 yards, 2 interceptions 2 TDs (should have been three picks). And most of those yard were because the run game was so dominant

Canfield: 30/43 329, 3 TD and no interceptions.

Enough with the true freshman bull****. Regardless of class barkley is average right now, so please can we stop hyping him. Trust me in 1-2 years when he is a heisman candidate you will have plenty of time to hype him

After watching this game, Oregon should be favored over USC and I will be picking the Ducks. That being said they better be prepared to stop the run and hopefully get a guy like Dickson or other tall recievers out there to have good games. Go Trojans though, seeing the Ducks in the rose bowl would make me sick
