    Trade advice

    I'm being offered

    THomas Jones
    Mike Bell

    FOR


    Steve Slaton
    Jermichael Finely



    I've gotten really really worried about Slaton at this point. I became worried about him once the Texans played Minne in pre season. His extra weight has slowed down his speed burst a little. He hasn't been hitting holes hard either I was worried about Jones early on this season, but he got a ton of carries in game one and always seems to play well when the odds are stacked against him to not be the main guy.

    And Mike Bell had an impressive game and looks like he could end up being a pretty strong work horse over there.



    What are you thoughts people?

    Well its a pretty even trade if you ask me since slaton and jones will put up about same numbers... jones might have more tds!

    Bell well have that many carries again sice thomas will take most of them...

    So to me its a toss up since bell and Finley are none factors to me!

    I have to admit that ever since Bell had that great game against the Texans in pre season, I think he will be a factor. Plus, it's not like THomas is some big time threat any way. He's not a great back by any means and he's been hampered with injuries that may linger. Weston follows the Saints a lot, and seems to think that Bell may cause a committee and I'm pretty much agreeing with him based off of everything I've read.

    Well the Saints are pass 1st offense, and then you have Thomas / Bush / Bell to split carrries... so I dont know how much you gonna get out of him... but if you like the trade then do it... to me its a toss up!

    I do like it, but man I know that Slaton still has a lot of potential possibly. This is a tough one for me. It really is.

    I'd keep Slaton. Not sure what good you expect Bell to do when Thomas is healthy.

    yea i meant lead

    he will be used running the ball for the Saints, he had like what 25+ carries in the opener? i think it's a good pick up, and with the way Slaton looked... I think Bell will give you more

    I don't think that Bell will be better than Slaton as far as points goes, but I think Bell will be better than what a lot of people think.

    Plus, what do you think about Jones vs Slaton right now?
