I actually really do like it. It illustrates how much of the play the ball was in the air and how much running was done. When Jordy Nelson had his 76 yard catch and run, I saw it was a 30 yard pass and 46 yard run...something I would not have known with the old overhead layout.

Looks nicer, but feels less practical. I'm not a big fan of change like this. It takes more clicks to get to the play-by-play, gamebook, etc.
