Ncaaico Which coach will be the biggest sucess in year 1?

Who will be the most successful (and least?) in year 1 with their new teams?

Some of the bigger names -

    spaziani-bc
    sarkisian-uw
    chizik-auburn
    kiffin-ut
    mullen- miss state
    walker-new mexico stae
    english-eastern michigan
    snyder-ksu
    swinney-clemson
    hoke-sdsu
    chip kelly-uo
    marrone-cuse
    christensen-wyoming

I think kelly is set up the best, but sarkisian has the farthest uo to go.

ya those two being two of the only guys to be with their team last year (with a few others like Spaz) seem to be obvious fits for success.

Those two because the cover isn't bare really. I can't wait to see what Hoke does at SDSU after what he did for Ball State, but it might take some time.

In year 1, has to be Chip Kelly. He's set up with a potentially tremendous quarterback with experience in Masoli, and a pretty good team built around him with talents like LaGarrette Blount in a solid conference.

Over the long run, Wolve mentioned Hoke, who I like at SDSU, and Sarks at Washington, but the name I'd watch is Swinney at Clemson, who seems to have a team that likes him, a talent rich area to recruit in, and a good head on his shoulders. It'll be a situation to watch.
    RIP Jay

If Hoke succeeds at SDSU, do you think teams like Utah or TCU will fall back or will there just been another good team in the MWC?

I think it may just turn into another good team in the MWC. That'd be four pretty consistently good programs, and at that point, you're almost starting to look like a potential BCS conference based on the next automatic bid period.

Really, I mean if SDSU gets good that just another loss or so for those top 3, I mean they already have to worry about the ever-sleeper Air Force picking them off or the rising UNLV program.

I think if SDSU got good, we'd see one of those teams fall back a littlee, not to the point of awfulness and not out of site of being back in MWC title contention but just far enough out that there wouldn't be 3-4 BCS contenders entering the year. (IE this year with BYU, TCU and maybe Utah eying a spot)

I'll believe UNLV when I see them win 8 games.

Utah was the most complete team the MWC has had though. TCU usually doesn't have the offense to match the defense and BYU vice versa.
