Vince Young makes big noise in interviews

Vince Young: 'I Will Be the Next Black Quarterback to Win the Super Bowl' -- NFL FanHouse

Vince Young says two things in particular that are big:
    1. He will be the next black quarterback to win a Super Bowl
    2. He will be in the Hall of Fame one day.

Big talk from big number 10, will he back it up?

Vince Young is still an immature idiot who has yet to learn anything in his one year of watching a veteran QB. All he does is continue to say and do the wrong things in the press when he should be working on how to read NFL Defenses and make NFL passes, good job Vince.

So yeah here's the thing Vince. First inorder to "win" a superbowl you have to do this thing where when the Offense goes out on the field you go out with them instead of watching on the sideline. Second did you mean the College Football HOF? If so then I think you should be in you were one of the best college football players ever. In order to get into the NFL HOF you have to have an extrodinary career in the NFL. And again to do that you actually have to start on the team you play for.

It's healthy for him to feel that way. All athletes should be competitive and have high goals. What he should be doing instead of talking about it is doing everything he can to make it happen. Show he can be a team player, learn from collins, prepare to step up if anything happens, while showing other teams that you are ready to start and lead. Vince will get his chance somewhere, he's too talented not to. Heck, they all do Couch, Carr, Smith is still getting his, the list goes on. The question is, is he preparing himself to do something with that chance. That takes more than words it takes work. So stop talking about it Vince and do it.

Believing in yourself is one thing, but announcing it to the world when you haven't even shown signs of progressing is pretty idiotic. He should keep that to himself. I believe this guy is seriously mentally unstable. It's something I hope he's getting actively treated for

There is a difference between being confident and being egotistical. Sometimes when a guy is egotistical and is experiencing alot of sucess and appears to be moving up in the world it can be misdiagnosed as confidence.

I think we finally have the answer to VY's college career where everybody praised him for his confidence and leadership. Ego anyone?

The Rose Bowl story where he was allegedly calling USC guys ugly in the huddle is starting to make sense now.
