No. 6: Alabama - AthlonSports.comThe 2009 calendar year hasn’t been all that great for the Tide. First came that embarrassing Sugar Bowl loss to a non-BCS team that has spawned a whole slew of lawsuits and decrees about letting the mid-major world have greater access to the postseason party. Then, there was Andre Smith’s awful decision to take his shirt off while running at his Pro Day. At least Tide coach Nick Saban hasn’t yelled at anybody in the media yet. Then again, it’s early.
They have some talent but considering they lost the two toughest games they played last year (unless you want to count that massacre in athens) ...makes me wonder.
