    assistants irks Manning

"Somebody says one thing, then somebody else says another thing," he said Tuesday after a minicamp workout. "I'm not sure everybody's on the same page in this building. I'm just trying to focus on playing quarterback well."

The truth is, the Colts don't know a whole lot, either.

this team has gone under so many coaching changes it's hard to see them being the same at all. I worry this team may not even make the playoffs at this point.

Anyone else beginning to think that maybe Dungy was the glue that held this team together like I think?

I've been thinking that. It's not just dungy though, Moore and meeks as well as a few position coaches it just doesn't look good.

I said earlier in the Power ranking post, that the Colts should not be in the top 5 going into the season, because of the wholesale coaching changes..too many unknowns to just give it to them because of past performance and having Peyton Manning on the roster. This Doesn't suprise me at all, like I also said in that other thread, I speak from experience, the players get so used to Tony's way of doing things that when he leaves, its really easy for the new coaches to fall short...

Having met manning personally, the guy can be a tempermental douche when things aren't going his way.

What did he do when you met him? Did he go off on you or something?

No, my neighbor was one of his Lineman at Tennessee. so he came down one time for a neighborhood football game, I thought it was awesome that he was willing to play despite the fact that his arm was insured for like a million.

But he was a total douchebag to his teamates, including collins. I think I was the only one he didn't call a retard. But it wasn't a fun game at all.

You said it. His arm was insured for like a million, pick up games to appease his boy, and risking a virtually guaranteed lifetime of enormous salary, would put anyone in a bad mood, but it's been said before, in order to get to that level of excellence a certain amount of cocky swagger is needed, including being a douche sometimes.
That said, no one likes a douche bag, and if he really didn't feel like playing he should have just said so.
