I have mixed feelings about this schedule. After starting off against Oakland, they play three tough games (host Baltimore, host Miami, at Pittsburgh) before a bye week. The thing I'm most happy about is that SD only has four East Coast games, and only one of them is the early game (at KC). The other three are a night game at Pitt, an afternoon game at the Giants, afternoon game at the Browns, and a night game at the Titans. Dallas isn't really an East Coast game, and I wouldn't have considered KC, but they do play the early game that day, and SD usually struggles in that game.
Other than that, SD doesn't really have that tough of a schedule. They don't have to play NE or Indy, which could be good or bad. Outside of the NFC East games, and a couple others, they have a good shot to be better than last years record (they really don't have a choice). Its conceivable that they could win 10-12 games this year.
