With the 8th selection in the 2009 draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select,
B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Yes, I know, Jacksonville needs a WR. However, I'm not sold on Maclin as a top 10 talent. I almost thought of taking Heyward-Bey here, but at the same time, I look at the defense, and I think it really misses having MArcus Stroud beside HEnderson. Raji will fill that void, playing 2nd fiddle to Henderson for a couple years, then taking the spotlight from HEnderson, before molding Henderson's replacement.
If the Jags are dead-set on WR or bust, they should consider a trade to a team that may want to trade up for Mark Sanchez, and they'd still get their pick of WR later in the round, be it MAclin, DHB, Harvin or whoever.
As it stands now, JAcksonville should still land a talented receiver in the 2nd round.

it seems to me, Law, that Denver has lost all it's scouts. All they got now are a bunch of guys quite unlikely to be as smart as they think they are. Moreno? Why not!
