IND Rhodes ready for return to winning with Colts

Quote:
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP)—Dominic Rhodes waited six years to become a starting running back in the NFL.

Then the Indianapolis Colts drafted Joseph Addai, won the Super Bowl and Rhodes followed the money to Oakland.

Turns out, life isn’t always better on the West Coast. Now, after one forgettable season with the Raiders, Rhodes has returned to his old team with a new number, different perspective and renewed passion to win.

I think Canton Kieth is a much better runner.

Kenton Keith, from what I've seen of both of them, is not as good a pure runner as Dom, and best case he's only as good.

I disagree Colt. I watched him quite a bit last year, and he really seemed to be able to move the ball for the Colts. When Addai went down, he had like a 100 yard game and played really well. Rhodes just doesn't impress me much.

I could easily be wrong though. A lot of Colts fans that I have talked to aren't to high on the guy, and the coaching staff must not be that high on him either, or they wouldn't have brought Rhodes back.

kenton Keith is an average back up runner, he is inconsistent. Yes he had some good games, some good series, and some good one of runs....he had many, many more of wtf was that type runs though usually when the yards were needed most. He also wears cement blocks for hands he couldnt catch a cold standing naked on the north pole.

Instead of starting a rookie LB'er (Phillip Wheeler),whom they've had nothing but rave reviews for ( in place of injured Gary Brackett). They are starting a LB'er from the 0-12 Detriot Lion practice squad (Buster Davis). Is Ron Meeks (Defensive coordinator) a crack baby?"

Yeah, I remember some of you guys saying that last year. I just never saw it. Rhodes will most likely get more carries I'm sure.

What about this Mike Hart guy?

Mike Hart looks like our best backup, but he really should get a start in one of these preseason games. I'm not convinced he can maintain that ypc average when he's not running against guys that will be bagging groceries in Hoham, Alabama.
