Chargers acquired WR Patrick Crayton from the Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2011.
Kevin Ogletree will stick as Dallas' fourth receiver. Crayton, 31, isn't a downfield threat, but fits San Diego's revised offense well. Due to issues in pass protection, the Chargers are going to be more of a dink and dunk team, emphasizing possession-slot receivers like Crayton and Legedu Naanee while relying heavily on Antonio Gates over the middle. Crayton can also return punts. He's not on the fantasy radar, but should help the Chargers

The Chargers are asking for a second-round pick in 2011 and a third-round pick in 2012 in exchange for Vincent Jackson, according to Yahoo's Michael Silver.
These are not absurd demands. The Dolphins gave up a second-round pick in both 2010 and 2011 for Brandon Marshall and then signed him to a four-year, $47.5 million contract that included at least $12.5 million in guarantees. However, we have no recent reports of movement on the V-Jax situation. Let someone else overpay for Jackson on draft day.

The Chargers have granted the Seahawks permission to discuss contract terms with unsigned and disgruntled wide receiver Vincent Jackson.
The story is confirmed by Seahawks GM John Schneider, so it's legit. While Yahoo's Jason Cole admits that "no significant progress has occurred to this point," sources say Chargers GM A.J. Smith is "committed" to trading V-Jax. The Bolts are convinced he will not play for them this year. The Seahawks have clearly been underwhelmed with Deion Branch, and T.J. Houshmandzadeh is hardly a difference maker anymore. Jackson would give Seattle a bonafide deep threat who can dominate in the red zone and run game as a blocker.

What do people see of his fantasy value this season? He's been a great fantasy QB the last two seasons.

Reason why I ask is because he's done very well the last two seasons. Now Jackson is gone for what 4 games? 6 games? Mathews is there now and quite possibly their offense relies more on the running game again like when LT was a big stud. Not for sure, but it's possible.

Does Rivers post another 30 TD season with 4,200+ yards or does he hit around like 25 TD's and 3,800+ yards? That's not a huge drop off or anything, but it would be a drop off somewhat putting him around the guys that are in the ranges of 8-11 rankings wise for points.

I think this could possibly happen this year, but I'll admit that I haven't seen the Chargers schedules to see what defenses they're playing all year.

What are your thoughts?
