Is this the same Lou Pinella? Why didn't you bench his ass?

Ryan Garko got benched for it last week as did BJ Upton. Granted Garko and Upton both haven't been doing that awesome at the plate, and neither are the producers that Soriano is, but you need to set a precedent.

Eric Wedge didn't bench Jhonny Peralta a few years ago when he did it.. Now he benches Garko..

What kind of precedent does that set?

I bet you any money had Mark Fotenenot went ahead and did that, he'd be benched.

I'm real shocked at Lou, I thought he was a better manager than that.. I guess those commercials were right, he is more relaxed.
