Looks like I jinxed the Tampa Bay Rays. I think it was right after my last blog praising them that they started their losing streak.

In other news, about this time of year every year I start quietly rooting for the Marlins to lose. Reason being I don't want baseball season to interfere with football season longer than it has to and with the Hurricanes now playing in the Dolphins stadium I have twice the reason. You see the dirt infield is a hinderance to the football teams. It causes problem and yes the other team has to deal with it as well but I've seen the Dolphins kickers miss short field goals because they're kicking off the dirt, or the QB slip cause of that dirt infield. Most Dolphin fans hate that dirt infield and now the Hurricane fans will hate it too. Unfortunately the Marlins new stadium won't be ready until the 2011 season so we have 2 more years to put up with it. The Hurricanes will only have to play on it twice this season which is OK but still more than I'd like.
