Did Marshall quit on Broncos?

Quote:
In the face of a bitter defeat, Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall turned and ran. Is that how a winner acts? Or did Marshall quit? "He's one of those soft receivers where he has to have the ball all the time. If he don't get it, he's going to mope and cry," Miami linebacker Joey Porter said Sunday. If you believe Porter, one of the main reasons the Dolphins upset Denver 26-17 Sunday is because the visitors got in the face of Marshall and messed with his mind until the young receiver cracked. "W

He was frustrated after the game and left the field. I would be too. Miami's defenders blanketed him all day, and the one time he got deep, he got called for a BS pass interference call.

How many times did they throw to Eddie Royal yesterday? All I've see Denver do all year long is look to Marshal Marshal Marshal. Of course the other team blanketed Marshal. I don't know if it is Shanahan constantly calling plays for only Marshal or if Cutler just keys in on him. I am not surprised though that this offense has dwindled. I didn't expect it to as much as it has, but I noticed early on that they were going to Marshall way to much. They weren't going to Stokely early enough, and they sure as hell weren't going to Royal nearly enough.

That is it for me. I don't think Denver will have ever have a real shot at winning a SB with Shanahan. Elway made that dude. Shanahan is really not that creative, and their is absolutely no excuse for this offense to dwindle as far as it has. And don't even get me started on the defense. My god, what have they done with that defense? Shanny needs to go. They won't do it for at least two years or so, but they need a new head coach in Denver.

I think Royal had 7 or 8 catches including a TD. Their main problem is that they can't run the bull for crap.

They're not mixing it up to Royal though. They should be throwing a ton of balls his way because of how versatile he is. How many of those balls that they threw were deep balls? How many were up the middle? They mostly seem to throw small short passes to Royal which he is good for, but he should be used all over the field. If Shanny would had a clue and spread the ball around better, then it would help.

And don't even get me started on the running game. It is atrocious. How does a team like that lose their running game that much? Don't worry, Shanahan will find another Ryan Torrain in the off season and swear that he reminds him of Terrell Davis once again. Hell, Terrell Davis's fricken crazy season has not only hurt the Broncos running game in certain years because of Shanny's obssession of finding the next one, but it has also carried on to the Texans as well with Kubiak having the same warped mentality. Damn that season of Terrell Davis getting 2,000 yards. I'm sure he had no idea what he caused we after doing that.

Its hard to draft a RB in the first round when we have no one in the middle of our defense. At some point you need to find guys in the middle rounds. We've found some guys like that, but not at DT, MLB, S or RB, God knows.
