Where to begin? Just an all around embarassing performance. The O-line couldn't run block. they couldn't pass block. Cutler's passes were fluttering after the finger injury. But, yet again, he tried to force too many passes. The playcalling was crap and the execution was worse. And, yet again, they can't hold onto the ball. FIVE MORE TURNOVERS??!!???!!
The D has to be the WORST tackling team in the league. They allowed Sammy Morris...SAMMY MORRIS...to have 138 yards in the FIRST HALF!!!!! No one but Champ can cover, as evidenced by Randy having his way after Champ pulled is groin. Hey, but they got 6 sacks! Oh...but they gave up 41 points. Hey, but at least Kern punted the ball well. OH WAIT...the coverage still sucks. What a way to go into the bye week.

They played just terrible. The defense is horrendous right now. They couldnt stop a Patriots team without Tom Brady or its top two running backs. Also its not like just the run D, or just the passing D sucks, they got demolished in all aspects of the game. This may be the best time to have the bye week, they might be able to regroup and finish with at least a little respectability.

That was one of the most irritating games to watch all season. Stupid penalty after penalty from the offense and the defense. The run blocking for the Broncos has been atrocious this season, but last night was flat out terrible. And I agree, it seemed like all game long I kept wondering what the hell Shanahan was thinking with that awful play calling. I keep asking almost every week now, what more does Royal have to do get more balls thrown in his direction? I saw him open on plenty of plays last night where he didn't get passed to. And when does Royal ever drop any balls? He catches everything thrown to him and he made a real nice grab last night when he had to leap up in the air and catch the ball in double coverage from two defenders to get a first down. I just don't get it. Marshall is a fantastic player and all, but they force it to him far to often and he made several mistakes last night and it doesn't help that he gets double teamed a lot while more balls continue to go to him any way. Where was the RB screen last night? If you can't run in between the tackles, then run some screen outlets to get your RB's the ball in space. I don't know why more coaches haven't learned that philosophy yet. Over all, that was a terrible game.
