News Cutler Named AFC Offensive Player of the Month

ENGLEWOOD — If Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler needed proof he had a stellar opening month of the 2008 NFL season, he'll get it Thursday.

The NFL on Wednesday informed team officials Cutler has been chosen the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, an honor that will be officially announced Thursday.

Interestingly, Cutler is the first Broncos player to be win that award since Brian Griese was so honored in September 2001, and Cutler and Griese will square off Sunday when the Broncos play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I don't know. A lot of those passes were short passes.

And many of them were to Brandon Marshall! Did you know Kyle Orton doesn't have any receivers named Brandon OR Marshall?

Well, except for Brandon Lloyd.

well deserved just from the first 3 games. he carried that team on his shoulders to a 3-0 start ............ well deserved
