OK, the semifinal debates have ended, and I have a couple of questions for everyone.

Obviously, it seems that people had trouble embracing the topics (my fault) and others had trouble just getting to a computer.

How would you like voting for the final to be done?

1- Eliminate DBLOCK and let the other 5 go at it.
2- As first planned; make a poll, the 2 winners and highest 2nd place guy make final
3- Set up a separate poll with the participants from both groups and the top 3 make final


What are your thoughts and ideas?

I say go with three, four at the most for next round. My idea is this: do the poll, advance the winners. Then do a poll for one of the remaining three to advance, or have a judge decide who of the remaining three should advance.

I also would not be opposed to only two people advancing.

It seems like with group 2 splitting their votes only two ways that they are very likely to both advance if you select the third off of most votes from the first poll.

Don't have all five of us advance.....eliminate SOMEONE or I'll feel like I wasted thought.

shouldn't the 'final' be a head-to-head battle?

I say group the 5 of us together for voting and the top 2 advance to the final ............ a championship should always be head to head ..............

Well, unfortunately, J_Ray will also be eliminated, as he will have vacation plans for the next couple of weeks.

Alright, here's what's going to happen.

Since DBLOCK never participated, and J_Ray won't be able to participate in a final, dbuilder automatically advances on from that group.

In the other group, I will be putting up a poll in just minutes and the top 2 vote getters advance.
