DAL Romo says he won’t return before mid-November

Quote:
IRVING, Texas (AP)—Tony Romo’s broken little finger has become a big issue for the struggling Dallas Cowboys.

The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback, who wanted to try to play last week despite the broken pinkie on his throwing hand, said Wednesday he now doesn’t expect to play again until at least mid-November.

“I don’t know when I’ll be back,” Romo said. “I think definitely the idea now is to get healthy by that bye week.”

Just saw that Johnson has been named the starter for this weeks game, officially.

Maybe Romo should have just listened to his team because this is essentially what they said the minute the injury was revealed and not tried to make the call on when he would play.

Why did he have to be so mavericky?

Got a call from his childhood hero and wanted to give it a go.

I know that's probably true, but it's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

If I broke my finger, and Bernie Kosar called me, I'm not gonna try to play with it.

This is how it went, report came out that Favre called him, next day a report came out about him throwing on the side, and then he practiced(limited).

if the cowboys actually end up being successful this year and winning a championship, this whole Romo injury could be a contributing factor. without him, the cowboys are going to have to find different ways to win. they are going to have to find different guys to step up. It may be the best thing for the team in the long run.

We won't need to worry about that.
