DAL S Roy Williams done for season

Quote:
Dallas Cowboys safety Roy Williams broke his right forearm for the second time Sunday in his first game back from the previous injury, and owner Jerry Jones said he'd miss the remainder of the season.

Williams, who has made the past five Pro Bowls, was hurt midway through the third quarter of a 34-14 loss to the St. Louis Rams. It was not clear how he was hurt.

During the game Williams' injury was addressed only briefly. A Rams spokesman, relaying information from the Cowboys, said then that Williams' status "was unknown at this point."

They're not going to fire Wade this season Champ. I don't even know that it would help by doing it in the middle of the season unless they brought in a well respected guy like Cowher that the team might listen to.

Roy Williams being hurt though should make you happy. You've bashed the guy for years.

We need Roy like I need a hole in my head. We suck with him and likely without him. At least without him I don't have to worry about his slow ass being late on a deep ball.

Where is down here? Where do you live? You live in Dallas or something?

Speaking on that note though, just about every team that is not doing well right now is chanting Cowher's name. His name has been all over the Texans boards and a few others that I've seen.

I just mentioned him for the Cowboys because with all of those egos and hard to handle personalities, they really need a strong leader and a coach that could enforce some serious discipline. I don't think that many of the players would listen to any new coach that would come in there and try to control everything other than maybe a BIG name guy like Cowher.

Also a coach that knows the 3-4 since that's what we're built for.

Living in Garland right now. Honestly, I enjoy the talk radio after a Cowboys loss. "Fire everyone now!!"
