Ty Law Wants To Play For Cowboys

Quote:
''I just don't want to play for anybody,'' Law said. ``I want to play for a contender, where I have the chance to go to the Super Bowl. I can help Dallas. I have the experience, I have been there before and I can help get a team over the edge.

``I'm not going to be a weak link for anybody and I'd love to try to provide some leadership for Dallas.''

Ty Law just wants a chance to play period, and he's seeing a last ditch ring opportunity.
But he has a hard time making rosters now, what makes him think he's ready to join this circus?

why not? what's another questionable signing to a 3-ring circus anyway ??

I don't know what Law still has in the tank. I can't see him being anymore than a dime back or something. What does everyone else think?

Yeah, I can't imagine he has anything left in the tank at this point. I thought the Pats were looking to resign him this summer. I definitely don't think he is a starter anymore and Dallas still has Henry, Jenkins and Scandrick.....which still isn't as good as having Newman there, but could Law make that much of a difference as a nickel or dime back?

How many more does he need? He already has 3.

Eh, he'd start for Miami. I don't think Dallas has the money to sign him after Roy Williams (WR) gets his new deal unless he signs for cheap.

Question is, if they sign Ty Law do they release Adam Jones?

He'd have to sign for cheap, he's like 110 years old.

Can't we just cut Jones even if we don't sign Law? It was like playing with a ghost opposite Newman anyway.

The Pats would have signed him, but the $$ was too far apart. Maybe Dallas will see that differently.
