Romo to miss four weeks with broken pinkie

Source: Romo to miss four weeks with broken pinkie

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN's Michael Smith.

Romo initially was diagnosed with a pinkie sprain in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, the Cowboys' holder on kicks, is Romo's backup.

The Cowboys have lost two of their last three games after starting the season 3-0.

I expect nothing less out of that clown..Brad has no deep ball, period. TO better just chop his routes off now, or there will be an implosion of epic proportions in the next three to four weeks.

Brad will be fine..TO wont, but Brad will still be Brad, although he was already a statue..so the o-line better be ready to put some serious work in.

That's it......season's over. Four games under Johnson? Sounds like a repeat of the preseason.

Looks like we will become a running team. We should just put Crayton or Stanback at QB, at least they can throw further than 20 yards.

You've got to be kidding me Hawkeye. You're smarter than this.

Johnson isn't a bad back up to have for a few weeks. He can be a good game manager. The Cowboys need to get back to working hard and not thinking they are as great as they are. They need to prove it to everyone and themselves as well.

The problem will be the locker room now. TO is getting after team mates all over the place. He will definitely go off on Brad Johnson when Johnson isn't getting him the ball as many times as he wants. TO knows that he is only a temporary back up, so he is not going to respect Johnson out there.

The O line needs to start blocking better. Romo made mistakes yesterday because he was getting pressured all game ling and getting hit like crazy.

Wade Phillips does not have this team prepared right now. He has not developed the leadership quality that a team with this many malcontents needs. No one is putting TO in his place, and no one is getting after Pac Man to behave except his body guard who he attacked. This team needs leadership period............................................ ...................

This is not the twighlight zone yet. The season is not over, and I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson manages a few of these games pretty well and they win 3 out of 4. It is very possible.
