DAL Owens opens his mouth

Just caught a post-game snippet of Terrell Owens, saying something to the effect of "We know what happens when I get the ball and when I don't get the ball."

Shawn Springs shut him down in the first half. I'm serious, Springs was all over him. When his calf cramped up, the Cowboys got Owens the ball, and he made things happen and got a score on that drive. Then, it seemed like Owens was a non-factor just as quick as he made a difference.

So, there's some smoke here......question is, is there a fire?

Owens was targeted 20 times in todays game and here he is complaining he didn't get the ball enough. They had 66 offensive plays and 20 of them targeted Owens. He's a third of their offense and its not enough for him!

LOL!!!!!!!

Of the 20 times he was targeted he had 7 catches and 2 rushes. Maybe if he'd done a better job of catching the ball they'd have won.

Wait for the obligatory "the media was just waiting to overreact to something TO says"

What a tool.

I'm waiting for all these folks in here that have tried to tell me that TO is a changed guy that learned from his mistakes.

We saw what happens when we try to get the ball to his ass too much. We played like we were the Dallas Owens and not the Cowboys. What the heck happened to our balanced offense. Our running backs only carried the ball 8 damn times and it was one guy. Every week I hear Felix Jones will be more involved, yet he didn't touch the ball once on offense.

Funny, I read that Marion only got 8 carries. So the Cowboys must have basically went away from the run all around and that is a really bad game plan when you have both guys who can run the ball. They made their offense a lot more predictable.

We ran the ball 11 times, T.O. had 2 carries, one was a Romo run and Barber, the guy they paid to be the work horse and had a career high 150 something yards last week had all of 8 carries. Felix Jones didn't sniff the ball at all.

I agree with you, but Garrett calls the plays, shouldn't you be atleast as critical of him as you are of Wade Philips in the other thread?

There's a difference between being targeted, and having an actual chance to catch the ball... Romo missed Owens A lot in this game... it's a pretty misleading number... throw aways in his direction also count to that total...

The story of this game was terrible playcalling... They needed to run the ball... and pass the ball much more effectively.
