Terence Newman might have started on Monday night in the nickel package, but it appears he will start in the base 3-4 scheme on Sunday night at Green Bay.
"I think Newman is better," coach Wade Phillips said. "He played 30 something plays in the game and I think he feels good now."
Newman missed the season opener with a torn groin, something that forced him to miss the entire preseason.
