Giants laugh off Michael Strahan's Super Bowl prediction for Dallas

Three days after standing in the middle of Giants Stadium, bowing to his former teammates with the Super Bowl trophy in his hand, Michael Strahan was hopping on the Dallas Cowboys' crowded bandwagon.

And his former teammates weren't the least bit surprised. "He's media now," said Eli Manning. "That's what happens when you go to the dark side."

Manning smiled when he said that, and most of Strahan's former teammates chuckled Monday when they heard that Strahan had gone on TV on Sunday morning and predicted that the Cowboys would win the Super Bowl. They labeled Strahan as a chronic Cowboy-hater and believed his prediction - made during his debut as an analyst on Fox's NFL pregame show - was done mostly to rile his old friends up.

The Giants have lost a lot more talent than just Gappy McGaptooth. their chances of making the Superbowl are indeed a lot less than Dallas's

they just have a chip because nobody gave them a chance and the team won it. their problem is that they all think they are superstars now....lol.

Uh uh....no one gave them a shot. A 5 seed from the NFC?

They were dissed all the way, and why I am their biggest booster? They KILLED me and my home team in SB 42.

There should be more respect for the NYG. Yes they play in one of the best divisions. Yes, they've lost players. Still, they are being dissed.....

What exactly is the problem? They're making fun of an old teammate that predicted a Super Bowl win for a team he probably hated for most of his career.

yeah nobody gave them a chance this is true. but the team itself was healthier and looked better than it did in years.

this year not only is the defense that won the super bowl NOT there, but who is there is injured...so they are in a worse position than last year not to mention the division itself probably better than last year....
