In a Signing Day surprise, Iowa State has signed four-star receiver and top 250 recruit Sedrick Johnson.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder was originally committed to Texas A&M, but decided to make the switch to the Cyclones today. Johnson told AggieYell.com on Tuesday, he was set to sign with the Aggies, but that changed in the last 24 hours.
Johnson will be the highest rated recruit in the Iowa State class. He ranks as the No. 30 player in Texas and the No. 34 receiver in the nation.
