Yeah, it is actually pathetic and his gutter trash family can enjoy the perks while they last. Hopefully Colorado will get investigated in as well.
Scott wanted nothing more than to come to Texas. There are many many rumors about his gutter trash mother getting some sort of 6 figure job in Colorado and not to mention her younger brother playing for the team already. It has been reported as well that his entire family put extreme pressure on him to go there. I even heard that his mother took his cell phone away from him last night in order so Texas recruiters couldn't try to sway him anymore. This was a really bad decision and an awful thing of his family to force him into this. Colorado will use the hell out of him probably breaking his body down. I actually feel sorry for the kid. He wanted to go to Texas, but has been forced by his greedy family that is leaching off of him to attend Colorado. Hopefully they'll be investigated and sanctioned in the next few years. |

I heard on CSTV that he was a silent to Texas a few times. I think Texas figured he was all theirs until last night. It's is really sad if his mother really pushed him to Colorado. Sounds almost as bad as what Josh Jenkins went through.

Come on, lets be realistic here. There is no way that freaking Colorado could out recruit Texas in getting a RB of his calibur. The situation couldn't be more perfect for him at Texas. Jamal Charles is gone and he would instantly be the starter and fit right into the system. He would be succeeding Ricky Williams, Ced benson, and Jamal Charles and then him next. It was an extremely easy pitch for Texas recruiters. He would have easily been a potential heisman candidate in a year or so and maybe even this year with his talent and the talent that would have been around him. Applewhite coming into the coaching staff and Muschamp as the new coordinator. You compare a power house like Texas and all of these other factors and this was a no brainer decision for him. I don't knock him at all, because his family put this awful burden on his shoulders forcing him to play for a much inferior program and having to go to a school that he did not want to go play for. Colorado does not have a strong team like that. He will be their entire offense and probably get pounded into the ground. Texas players and staff will make sure that they remember this when they blow Colorado out of the sky when they play. Again, hopefully the NCAA will get off their sorry asses and look into this some more if not now, but hopefully in the next year or so. This is not right, nor is it good for college football for teams to be doing this sort garbage. Who knows though, USC seems like nothing will happen to them either so why have the rules out there in the first place? |

Tex the things you're saying about an 18 YEAR OLD KID are somewhat disgusting. All you know about this situation is what you've read (be it accurate or not)...just because this kid didn't choose Texas you're calling his mother scum and trashing his family..I'd love to hear what you'd have to say about his mother and family if he had chosen Texas.

I'll see if I can get my hands on some articles and posts from people that were actually involved. I am hearing that his mother recieved some sort of banking job in Colorado throughout all of this and yes it is something like 6 figures. Her brother plays for the team as well. One of Orange Bloods's main reporters was asked to leave the war room or whatever they call it on signing day. He was singled out and asked to leave on requests of Scott's mother. His mother went out of her way to block out Texas's recruiters for a long time. This decision became his family's decision and not his. This is inside information that comes from a site that you have to pay for. And if he decided to come to Texas I would thing the exact same thing about his mother. I don't feel bad towards Scott, I feel sorry for him and the position that the kid has been in the last few months and the extra pressure that his own family put on him out of their own greed. The fact that she will be getting some sort of job out of all of this and the pressure that she put on her son to go to a school that wasn't his first choise is not only wrong but straight up greedy. Your messing with a kid's career here and this is the kind of thing that could affect his entire life. She is not the first kind of parent to do something like this of course, but it certainly is case where I find it disgusting and therefore some of my opinions about it may seem discusting because that is what it is. |
