One of the more unique rivalry games in the country. I can't believe the spread is 16...simply stupid. I love my Bulldogs, but don't like our chances.

Should be a good game usually both teams come to play so don't expect a blowout. That being said with the bad weather conditions expected I don't think States offense can keep up with the Rebels'.

Actually, bad weather would HELP the offensively inept team, not the team who can score points. Simple meteorology.

Well I was thinking more along the lines of I don't think State will be able to score with the bad weather. But ok

Well, the weather there is looking ok now. I'll tell ya.....Ole Miss got lucky when Jevan Snead decided to choose them as his new destination. He needs to improve his completion percentage a little, but he is definitely a good QB. I think that if Tebow leaves after this year, Snead will be the best QB in the SEC next year.....regardless of whether Stafford stays or not.

I have never understood why skill position players at QB and RB especially go to schools that are already stacked at that position (like USC). You know some of them will leave to go to programs where they can play sooner (Demetrius Jones, Snead, etc) anyway. This was an example of the right player coming at the right time. Nutt is not one of those coaches that has tunnel vision and is focused on only one style of offense (take note RichRod). Nutt will go with whatever works....and I think he and Snead will make the Rebels very successful over the next two years.

I woke up late and completly forgot to watch this game

So I tune in during the 4th quarter and the score is 38-0 Ole Miss and State has -34 yards rushing

The game ends 45-0 with state in the negative 30s or 20s in rushing and Ole Miss had 11 sacks. It was nice to see Tyrone Nix do well, he was great at Southern and hopefully he can be great at Ole Miss.
