I mean, I know that 7 is a big spread by spread means.

But is it really so crazy to predict that OU wins by one touchdown?

Eh, it's borderline. I'd have put the line at around 4 myself for all the times I've watched these teams play.

I think Tech wins by 3+ so thats a 10 point turnaround at least....thats pretty big to me

Maybe for you, but it doesn't seem like such a ridiculous spread. It's favoring the home team who is #5 in the nation by one score.

well, but the fact that they're #5 and they're playing the #2 team in the nation makes it a head scratcher ............ .......... but TT hasn't been respected by the general public all year, so it's not surprising ..............

Vegas doesn't set lines based on who THEY actually think is better ......... Vegas sets the line where they think the general public believes the lines should be ............. their goal is to make the bets on each game as close to 50/50 as possible ........ and i think the general public pretty much believes that OU is a TD better than TT at home ............... I'd say, right now, if these 2 teams played at OU 10 times, OU would have trouble covering that spread 5 times ..............

I'm going with Oklahoma.

The horrible part about this game is that I don't know who to root for. Texas will get cheated from what I hear if Oklahoma wins, which it totally unfair when we beat them and we've had a tougher schedule.

And if TT wins that is automatic BIG 12 conference game. If Oklahoma is going to leap frog Texas which they most likely will, then I'd rather see TT win.

That's what I hate about the BCS it's all about when you win or loose. Who's hot now. That sort of thing. I honestly don't know who should go if OU wins. They've all beaten each other basicly. All at different times though. How do you know who is the best right now? Honestly even in a playoff situation I don't see one that would allow three teams from the big 12 south in. So it's just a wierd situation. I still haven't decided who I think should represent the south in that case. What I do know is anyone that says thier team should go hands down is just being a homer it's not that easy.
