#15 Ball State-31 at Central Michigan-24

Winner of this game wins the MAC West outright.

The Chips have been not themselves this season partly due to the ankles of one Dan LeFevour. They did pull it out against NIU last week in the fog fest.

Ball State has been unstoppable this season. Can the Chips be the ones to de-throne them?

Weather for Mt. Pleasant Michigan at game time will be scattered snow showers and in the low 20's at kickoff which is set for 7pm ET. Our own R5d3 is getting paid to go to the game; well kind of and will more then likely be on the sidelines for the game. Lucky something that I can't say on this family friendly site.

4 hours til kickoff and I can't take it! I'm soooooooo nervous for this game; even more so then my Lions and R5d3's Bucs game this weekend.

game is on ESPN2...I forgot that little tidbit last night.

There's freezing rain and they got an inch of snow earlier today. About ready to kick off.

10 all at halftime. CMU is leading in plays, TOP, and they are doing whatever they want to. Ball State is failing apart.

31-24 Ball State just has Western Michigan standing between them and the MAC West. A very good defense battle was on display tonight. LeFevour's interception and CMU's kicker missing 2 FG's was the difference.

I actually thought they were quite ugly.

Good game overall though. Excellent weather and CMU has no reason to be ashamed of losing that game. They were in it 'til the very end. Did I hear them say that CMU can still win the division if Ball St loses to WMU?

Yes you did hear that. CMU beat WMU last month.
