This is the best team Spurrier has had in South Carolina. Can their #1 ranked D slow down the recently dominant Gator offense? Gators have been beating the crap out of teams and an impressive win against Spurrier gives them a good chance to jump Texas in the computer polls.

Seriously, is anyone playing better football right now then the Gators? If the Gators continue to play at this level I doubt anyone in the NCAA could stay within 10 points of them. Hell they'd more than likely beat the Lions and Bengals.

In the last 6 games the Gators have outscored their opponents 299-63 . It is a 49.83 avg to 10.5 for a 39.33 avg point differential. The most impressive thing is that all 6 games came against the SEC. The only team to have as dominant of a 6 game stretch against the SEC is the 96 Gators. The games were against Arkansas, LSU, Kentucky, Georgia, Vandy, and South Carolina. LSU/Georgia were ranked in the top 10, South Carolina was dominant on defense before that ranked #1 overall SEC defense and we put up 56 points on them. Vandy hasn't allowed more than 24 points other than our game and we put up 42 on them without really playing the 2nd half. We had 28 within 20 minutes of the game. The only team in this streak that isn't bowl eligible right now is Arkansas.
