The recovery time for MCL injuries is usually 3-4 weeks, which likely means Anderson is out for the remainder of the 2008 season.

Anderson was hurt Sunday when Browns right tackle Kevin Shaffer landed on Anderson's leg on the final drive.

It's a 3-4 week injury, if the season was a couple weeks longer (or if the Browns were in line to make the playoffs) he'd be returning this season. Doesn't affect trade value IMO.

Best combined year of the two you just mentioned:

Rex Grossman's 2006 season with 23 touchdowns and 20 picks to go along with a rating of about 74.

No comparison to a guy who actually made the Pro Bowl last season...
