CLE Brady Quinn v. Buffalo Defense

Expectations for this Monday night's contest between the Cleveland "Riding on Brady Quinn's Arm And Not Much Else" Browns offense and the Buffalo "Trent Please Don't Put Us In Another Bad Situation" Bills defense...

Brady will have had a full 10 days (ish) to prepare for this one, with a complete gameplan, and rumors of the Browns wanting to stretch the field and go deep a bit more in this one. Here's my prediction for Brady's stats...

17/26 230 yards, 2 TD's

Not bad for a second week starter...

Lets hope that Edwards can somehow catch Quinn's passes better than Anderson's. He's really held them back this year with his hands. This is a team that should have no problem in the passing game, but with injuries to the secondary targets, and Edwards having a horrible case of the drops, it's been a nightmare for the Browns.

Might be a little too optimistic, but if Edwards can come through, I definitely see it.

Really, it turns into more of him AND Winslow with the dropsies the last few games. They both need to hang onto the ball.

Crabtree to Cleveland anyone?

well, he certainly won't have to deal with any sort of pass rush... so that should help him immensely.

your prediction is pretty much in line, I'd say..

Unless they blitz Kavika Mitchell.

I was convinced they should have given Mitchell the ball at the end of the game, and had him run it up the middle. It's good for at least 10 YPC.

I'm pretty sure you just figured out a cure for both the pass rush AND running game.

well done.

Considering he only played his second game, Quinn did good. But there is still room for improvement. He had a significant drop off from his first game, and the Bills did drop at least two INTs.
