BEREA, Ohio: Quarterback Derek Anderson has been benched by the Cleveland Browns, who will start popular backup Brady Quinn on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos.

The switch was confirmed Monday by the team, just hours after coach Romeo Crennel said he had no plans to make a change.
Quinn replaces Anderson as Browns quarterback - International Herald Tribune

What happened in that game this week> I was wondering because I was rooting for the Browns and next thing I know the Ravens had like 3 TD's and were winning.

Braylon Edwards dropped a sure touchdown pass that woulda probably put them up by enough to win... the Browns kept going 3 and out and the Ravens just moved the ball with authority.. Ray Rice had a big run in there as well.

This was long overdue.. But this was probably the worst possible week they could have made this move..

You only have three, maybe two days to prepare for Denver.. So you are going to give a guy who hasn't had to be prepared to start two days?

That's just bad management by whoever decided to make the switch now.. It would be much wiser to start him on the long week.. or am I just crazy?

Romeo just doesn't seem like he knows what's up anymore.. I quote...

"we were hoping we would win"

and

"we encountered some defensive problems.... for whatever reason, I'm not really sure."

These are quotes from Romeo himself... Are you serious?

And so much for that trade value they had this off-season for their one hit wonder quarterback.

Agreed Romeo should go. And Edwards dropped another TD pass? That fool has been a total bust this season, and has no excuses to suck the way he has. Damn I got F'd by drafting his ass this season.

Don't know how a guy who posted the numbers he did last season can play like this all year. Reminds me of David Boston when he had that great season.

Whatever happened to LOR? He doesn't post in here any more? He was always posting about the Browns.
