Bears Day One Draft Grade?

What would you give the Bears for their first two rounds as a grade?

C, they didn't get a QB.. So now it's John David Booty or Colt Brennan or one of those project guys

C. We'll have to see how that neck injury affects Williams, but my bet is that it won't. However, not taking Brohm or Henne is a huge mistake for this team. However, there are better ones next year, but there is no telling who will and who won't declare at this time.

I'd give it a C+/B-. While they didn't get a QB, they are starting to build the offense the right way with a very good OT in Williams and Forte could be a big steal in the 2nd. I would have preferred to see them go WR or QB, but you can't fault them for getting both of the players they did.

I'm not complaining about the selection of Williams. The issue was not getting a QB. Forte is nice, but when they can right the QB position with a guy like Brohm, I think you have to do it. How Lovie Smith will survive another season with Grossman, I do not know.

it makes me insane how the bears dont understand they need a QB....it boggles the mind....i know none of the QBs this year will be Peyton, but sheesh....TRY...you have Rex and Orton...and you think you are FINE?? come on! its like the eagles and WRs...or hell the Eagles and using their first round picks to get PLAYERS...lol

It's probably going to cost Lovie Smith his job. Either after this year, or he drafts one next year, but it'll be too late to save it.
