Jonathan Stewart...interesting pick here, they're clearly going with the two back system with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, definitely should compliment each other, and neither hurts you in the passing game. Good move here.

I hope Stewart and Williams can stay healthy. Williams is more of a speed guy, with Stewart being the back who enjoys being hit. These two will be a perfect complement to each other, and Stewart will be huge for this team going back to a rushing attack.

Our Take is: This pick is a bit of a surprise to us, as it was clear with Delhomme's injury last season that a QB was a position of need, certainly O-line help and D- line interior could have used some bolstering. Interesting that they viewed a companion RB as a higher priority.

At halftime, Manning asked assistant coaches Clyde Christensen and Jim Caldwell, both up in the coaches' box, "Did you guys see anything?'' They told him, "Well, you haven't thrown an incompletion (13-of-13), so we don't really have a lot of coaching points for you. Just keep doing what you're doing.'' more on Manning from a NON-COLT perspective.... ...much like the much loved (and hated by me) Peyton Manning can do, as much as I hate to admit it, he's got a very fast release, which saves his douchebaggness on multiple occasions.

I like the pick, but I am not so sure I like this pick where it was. Deangelo Williams is lightning fast, and a "banger" could definitely compliment him, but I think this is high for Stewart. You can pick up this talent in the third round without missing on anything real big that you get with Stewart.

According NFLN, the Panthers have been told that he will be fine following his surgery and they feel he give them the power running back they been missing since Davis.

I'm not sure what to think of this pick....I liked Jonathan Stewart @ Oregon but why do we need him? I would of rather had a OL, Kenny Phillips, or Mendenhall. He better turn their running game into the Cowboys type system from the last year or so, with Julius Jones & Marion Barber.
