BUF Jauron accepts criticism during Bills meltdown

Quote:
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP)—Bills coach Dick Jauron isn’t showing any signs of flinching for someone who suddenly finds himself on the hot seat.

With his familiar even-keel delivery, Jauron on Wednesday acknowledged the angry boos he heard from Bills fans following the team’s latest loss last weekend. In accepting the criticism directed his way, Jauron made it clear the buck for Buffalo’s ongoing meltdown stops with him.

“It’s part of the deal when you don’t win,” Jauron said. “You know when you don’t win that there’s going to be criticism and it’s going to be deserved. So you go on. You try to improve and you try to do the things that’ll make everyone happy: And that’s win football games.”

didn't they just give him an extension a few weeks ago? Why would they fire him now?

Because their idiots. He should have never gotten an extension. Realistically he should be fired after this season. He has never taken the Bills anywhere and they'll most likely finish last in the division. He's had his time there and now is working with another QB and it isn't translating into any post season appearances. The Bills under Jauron have constantly been about taking one step forward two steps back over and over. Every time it looks like they're turning a corner, they go right back into reverse mode.

I don't really care though. I'm not a Bills fan. They can keep sucking for all I care.
