BUF QB Edwards plans to start this Sunday

Quote:
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills returned to practice Monday following their bye week. More importantly, so did their starting quarterback.

Trent Edwards was back at work a week after being knocked out in Buffalo's Week 5 loss to the Arizona Cardinals and said he expects to play Sunday when the Bills (4-1) host the San Diego Chargers (3-3) in a key AFC matchup.

oh, but I thought the Bills defensive woes could be attributed to the shock of losing trent!

oh yeah I forgot. I mean Trent was better at generating pressure on the QB than Kelsay and Schobel combined...

Seriously if that was the case, and all it takes if for a player to get hurt and the team plays like crap, then Fire Jauron NOW...

there are people that honestly believe it, Mike Schopp on WGR is the forefront of this propaganda.

just like the mindless JP bashing that went on last week, he was easily the best offensive player.... but he remains the ultimate scapegoat... did you know he allowed 41 points?

and how about JP Romo against that Cardinals defense this week? eh?

People in Buffalo don't want to see Trent for what he is, Just a Average-at-best QB who can manage games, but can't really be depended on to take the team on his back.

and after the 4-0 start proboally no one wants to billeve (is that word still being used) that the record is more of a product that we got a banged up Seahawks and Jags, and a terrible Raiders and Rams offense. and not that the defense has only MARGINALLY improved.

i think trent looks really good whenever i've had a chance to see him .......... he's accurate with his throws ........ doesn't make a lot of stupid plays .......... seems to be in control most of the time ........... i see him as having potential to be a very good NFL QB.

I'm going to say Buffalo found their replacement to Jim Kelly...and it ticks me off because we haven't found our replacement for Dan Marino yet.

Seriously though, if he doesn't make it to the pro bowl it will be a travesty. He is the 4th highest rated passer in the NFL, 2nd in the AFC behind Phillip Rivers. If Rivers, Edwards and Cutler don't make the pro bowl I will be shocked cause Peyton Manning is playing like crap right now.
