I don't know how JP got a reputation as the worst quarterback of all time.

but whatever, it's not worth arguing at this point and Trent Edwards is now a competent quarterback.

I'm still trying to figure out how he ever got a reputation for being a good QB.

Still throwing to the flat far too much, especially on 3rd and long. most of his yards were Fred Jackson after the catch.

he's a viable NFL QB, but I still don't think he's anything special. as long as the defense does it job on 3rd down, Edwards won't prove to be too much of a liability.

However the running game needs to get better too otherwise the bills offense will be put in the position where Trent has to make the big play, and he'll throw to the flat.

JP's situation was actually kinda the one David Carr was in when he was starting in houston. except Carr was given a valid shot.

If by that, you mean that neither quarterback was good enough to lead a team, then maybe the situations are similar.

okay so the bills were never really as bad as the Texans. but J.P. Never seemed to have a combination of Protection, Run Support, Defensive Backup, Coaches trust. it was always just one of the group and it seemed to change from week to week.

NO neither QB is good enough to Carry a team by themselves, but you give them enough talent to work with and they'll make sure that it's put to good use.

3 4th quarter scoring drives against Oakland.

at this point, I don't know if the kid can do wrong... with as awful as the protection was today, Trent's performance was nothing short of remarkable.

yes glass, remarkable.
