BUF Bills holdout Peters becoming a myth?

Quote:
Before my plane left the Buffalo Niagara International Airport tarmac Saturday afternoon, I spotted something spectacular.

Buried on the back pages of the Buffalo News was the headline, "Two men claim to have Bigfoot corpse on ice."

"Wow," I muttered to myself. "Sasquatch is easier to find than Jason Peters."

Information about Peters, the Pro Bowl left tackle who's holding out for a new contract, has been scarce. We're talking Loch Ness Monster and Bronson Pinchot stuff here.

The funny part being that the Bills don't seem to care.

Of course The bills don't care, Ralph wilson thinks this is his lucky day what with the fines + salary not paid he's getting to pocket.

yeah, it's always something important... giving the fines to charity quite frankly is one of the classiest things the NFL does.

being that it's the Bills, it's probably going to Hunter's Hope or something benefiting spinal cord injuries because of Kevin Everett

League Imposed fines goto Charity... supposidly. However there is no concrete statement either which way that this actually happens... and to which charity...

However Team-Imposed fines... like those for Missing Mandatory Practices and what not are not under the League Imposed umbrella and it's up to the owner\front office to decide where that money goes. I say it goes into the Profit Margin because I can't find record of The bills donating collected fines to X or Y charity...

you can't honestly believe it's being deposited into the Wilson family bank account... do you know what kind of scandal that would be? it would be on CNN....

it's silly to speculate, but I guarantee that money is going to charity...

Ralph wilson has spent The good part of the last 5 years complaining that he's losing money. so him not donating Team Fines\Unpaid Salary Checks would hardly be considered Scandalous. Mostly because nobody in Buffalo would have the Brass Buttons to call him out on it. and secondly there is no League bylaw that says team collected fines\Unpaid salary have to be donated to a charity.. actually and my research has come up negative on official league policy stating league collected fines HAVE to be donated. But there is a way for teams to take Unpaid Salary and use it as cap relief for the following season. Atlanta got to do it for this year's cap with the salary they withheld from vick.

So yeah I do HONESTLY believe the money is going to Into Ralph's pocket because he's obviously not re-investing it in the franchise at all.
