I have been fairly silent on the Chris Cook arrest. It's such a hard topic to discuss because sports exists in a bubble to me and many others. I personally have no interest in the private lives of athletes, and am annoyed with the barrage of "distractions" athletes go through involving off-field relationships and incidents. But this is one of those times that the accusation is so heinous, and the evidence so particularly damning.

Frazier didn't hesitate long to name his starter for next week's game against the Packers. Ponder will make his first NFL start and it will be a trial by fire for the rookie.
