OFFENSE

THE SCHEME: Since Galen Hall took over as coordinator in 2004, the offense has gotten more complex and varied after having grown stale and predictable. There is talk of the Nittany Lions using a spread scheme similar to the one Hall used so well in 2005 with Michael Robinson at the controls. Expect power running to remain a staple of the attack, but Hall needs to make maximum use of one of the Big Ten's most talented receiving corps, too.

Looks like Penn State could be pretty solid and with them running the spread like they did when they went 11-1 in 2005 (being in the big ten running the spread obviously has its advantages) it should make it real tough for my Beavers to make that trip east week 2

Clark's going to give them one heckuva talented quarterback to run that offense. The key will be something Morelli never gave them: consistency. Derrick Williams needs someone to get him the ball consistently.
