Antonio Henton transferring?
Quote:
If this holds true, it kinda weakens the QB depth and just about guarantees Pryor will see time this year rather than redshirting.

I don't think it was realistic that Pryor would redshirt anyways. He was always going to see time this year no matter what.
As for Henton...he got outplayed this spring by Joe Bauserman, and I'm not quite sure he was even going to be the backup anyways. Not a huge loss here. -RD

Alright, I know Wolvy downplayed some guys leaving Michigan, so this is only natural for a fan (and yes, I have done it), but come on.....if Henton leaves, they are down to 3 QBs (Boeckman, Pryor and Bauserman). Who the heck is Joe Bauserman anyway? I looked him up on Rivals and Scout both and he doesn't come up. He must be a walk-on then. It's got to be somewhat of a loss depth-wise to lose two 4 star QBs to transfer. That leaves two freshmen behind Boeckman. I would be a little bit nervous about that.......especially when the team has so much potential this year.

Well there's the difference between you and me, you looked him up on Rivals, I saw him in live action
![]() We'll be fine. Bauserman's not really showing up on Scout because he was a non-traditional non-scholarship prospect. He played minor league ball for the Pirates organization, and they're actually paying for his schooling, which is why he's not on scholly. He's a solid quarterback, and I'm actually relatively happy he's going to be the unquestioned backup now. -RD

Henton is a very talented athlete, just like Rob Schoenhoft. Stuff like this happens at OSU, where a quality player gets buried in the depth chart and transfers out.
If the timing had been right I think Antonio could have been a very very good quarterback for the Buckeyes. As for Bausermann, he reminds me a lot of Boeckman; he'll make a decent emergency QB.
